Weekly Prayer

Our Heaven Father,
Thank You for all the earthly blessings that You bestow upon us daily! We are overcome with praise for You, for our children and grandchildren and all the comforts that are ours through Your generous and gracious giving. We ask you to show us Your ways, O LORD, teach us Your paths; guide us in Your truth and teach us, for You are our God our Savior and our HOPE is in You all day long. Remember, O LORD, Your great mercy and love, for they are from of old. You have told us that You have great plans for us, plans to prosper us, and plans for a HOPE and a future. Help us to seek You will all our hearts and we will be found by You and You will bring us back from captivity and secure our HOPE with a future in Heaven with You. We pray in the name of our HOPE-giving Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen

Welcome to our website. We are glad that we can share the Lord's ministry at Bethlehem with you! Our mission is to call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ; and, to build disciples who love and follow the Lord wholeheartedly.

Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church has been a part of the Morris, Illinois community since 1880. We are thankful for our past; it is a rich spiritual heritage filled with many blessings. And, we are enthused about our future as the Word of God is proclaimed and more people come alive in Christ!

Keep looking to Jesus for He is as He said, "the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6). May your visit to our website encourage you spiritually in your walk with the Lord.
