Welcome

Welcome to our website. We are glad that we can share the Lord's ministry at Bethlehem with you! Our mission is to call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ; and, to build disciples who love and follow the Lord wholeheartedly.

Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church has been a part of the Morris, Illinois community since 1880. We are thankful for our past; it is a rich spiritual heritage filled with many blessings. And, we are enthused about our future as the Word of God is proclaimed and more people come alive in Christ!Sign

Keep looking to Jesus for He is as He said, "the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6). May your visit to our website encourage you spiritually in your walk with the Lord.

*************************************

"With what shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before God on High?

Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil?

Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you

but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Micah 6: 6-8 (ESV)
