Welcome Welcome to our website. We are glad that we can share the Lord's ministry at Bethlehem with you! Our mission is to call people to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ; and, to build disciples who love and follow the Lord wholeheartedly. Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church has been a part of the Morris, Illinois community since 1880. We are thankful for our past; it is a rich spiritual heritage filled with many blessings. And, we are enthused about our future as the Word of God is proclaimed and more people come alive in Christ! Keep looking to Jesus for He is as He said, "the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6). SERVICE Please Pray and support our troops in Iraq. Pray for their success and their safety. Pray for our military leaders to have the wisdom necessary to accomplish both these goals. Pray for your leaders, local, state and Federal We need to pray for our elected officials and ask God to move in their lives and make them good leaders for the people they serve. This week the sermon will be, "A Changed Heart for Sodom", Genesis 18:20-33, given by Pastor Patrick Lohse. At present time we have over 20 audio sermons in the "Sermon" section. Be sure to come back often as we are constantly adding new pages and developing the site. Thank you for visiting us.
